Description

Cave paintings are depictions on the walls and ceilings of limestone caves, featuring symbols painted with distinct motifs. In Lenggong, there are up to five limestone caves with such paintings, namely Gua Badak, Gua Batu Tukang, Gua Dayak, Gua Gelok, and Gua Batu Putih. These paintings, characterized by their black color, are created using charcoal. The Orang Asli, who once lived in these caves before relocating to permanent settlements in Kampung Air Bah and Bukit Sapi in 1990, were responsible for crafting these historical artworks.
