Description

Lenggong Town was opened by Tun Saban in the early 16th century AD as the historical administrative centre of Lenggong District. Its well-preserved old buildings and shophouses that are almost a century old add to its charm. Since 2012, the town has been known as the main gateway to the Lenggong Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site.

It is now set to become a Geopark Town, offering tourists the opportunity to explore the region’s rich geoheritage and natural beauty. This transformation highlights a unique blend of historical attractions, rich culture, and stunning landscapes, making it a popular tourism destination.
