The Lenggong Malay Boys' School, established in 1890, holds the distinction of being the earliest school in the Hulu Perak district. Initially, the school's construction comprised nibong poles, thatched roofs, and clay floors. However, the building of the Lenggong Malay Boys' School has been demolished, while the structure of the Lenggong Girls' School still stands, albeit no longer in active use. Presently, the school serves as a venue for religious classes in the evening.
