Description

The distinctive Perak-style Limas houses became popular in the 1900s. The early version of the roof, known as perabung lima, features a single main ridge in the middle of the roof, followed by a smaller ridge. The term "limas" is thought to describe five ridges with a small triangular shape at the end. Examples of Limas Bumbung Perak Houses in Lenggong can be found in Kampung Luat, Kampung Gelok, and Kampung Ulu Kenderong.
