Lenggong – The UNESCO Global Geopark of Lenggong is honoured to welcome members of the Baling Association of Senior Citizens' Activities (PAWE) to the Lenggong Geopark Gallery on a visit that provided the participants with a meaningful learning experience and exposure.
The visit provided participants with the opportunity to gain a closer insight into the unique diversity of geological, archaeological, natural and cultural heritage found in the Lenggong UNESCO Global Geopark. Participants were also introduced to the story of the close relationship between Earth's history and human history, which makes Lenggong a geopark of exceptional heritage value.
Through the exhibitions and informational materials displayed at the Lenggong Geopark Gallery, participants have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Lenggong's history and heritage, which encompasses millions of years of geological history and thousands of years of human settlement and life.
This visit also provided an opportunity for participants to appreciate the importance of conserving geological and cultural heritage as treasures that must be preserved and passed on to future generations.
Lenggong UNESCO Global Geopark extends its highest appreciation to PAWE Baling for their courtesy in visiting Lenggong.
